During the 1980s, a XXX film with a discernible plot and talented cast was a more common occurrence than now. In Beauty and the Beast, an adult version of the classic fairy tale, director Paul Thomas not only serves up an entertaining bedtime story, but does so with such superstars as Tracy Adams, Mike Horner, John Leslie, and Tom Byron. And while this particular take on the story is rife with tongue-in-cheek humor (with lines like 'a cock in the hand is worth two in the bush'), the sex scenes are still as sizzling as can be. During our introduction to the main characters, we learn that Lyle (Mike Horner) is a poor peddler widower with two lovely daughters; Beauty (Tracy Adams) is a wholesome virgin, while Eliza (Niki Knights) is a horny devil.
